WHO IS BEHIND THIS
AI Safety Check is a product of Aisthetic Lab, an AI creative studio based in the Rhein-Main region of Germany that works with wine, spirits and luxury brands. We build AI tooling for companies whose value sits in things that are easy to leak: price lists, allocations, unreleased vintages, customer relationships.
Wine businesses adopted AI faster than they adopted AI rules. In practice we kept meeting the same three gaps: nobody had written down which tools are approved, nobody had trained the team on what may go where, and nobody could show a distributor or an auditor what was actually done. AI Safety Check turns those three gaps into a documented, repeatable routine — training with tests, an approved-tool registry, an incident log and an audit package.
The training and the templates are built on the EU AI Act (Article 4 on AI literacy and Article 50 on transparency and marking), the GDPR, and German trade-secret law (GeschGehG), translated into the daily situations of a winery, importer or distributor. The content is written to be usable by people who are not lawyers — and is reviewed and updated as the rules change.
The product is led by Olha, founder of Aisthetic Lab — a communications and brand strategist who moved from a decade of work with premium and fashion brands into applied AI. That background shapes the material: it is written for the person who has to explain the rules to a sales team on Monday morning, not for a compliance department.
